The Michael T. Doucette Scholarship Fund
The Philharmonic established this scholarship fund in memory of Michael Doucette, a young violinist with the Philharmonic from 1988 to 1990, who passed away in 1990 at the age of seventeen. The fund provides scholarships to young members of the Philharmonic to help them in their musical pursuits. The award is made to the student member of the orchestra who best exemplifies the spirit of Michael Doucette through commitment to and love of music.
