The Philharmonic provides educational and outreach programs as a core part of its mission.

The Philharmonic is committed to working with local schools to develop meaningful programs targeted at young and new listeners. The New Hampshire Philharmonic's intent is to provide opportunities for students to engage actively with the riches of western art music.

Our current activies aimed at students include Giving Wings to Young Artists (our core orchestral training program), Rising Stars (our annual youth concerto competition), Take Me to the Zoo! (an interactive instrument petting zoo), subsidized student tickets to our subscription concerts, and our special collaborative project with area schoolchildren Drawn to the Music (for K through 6th grade).
