Alicia Rockenhauser

Alicia Rockenhauser is an educator and performer born and raised in New Hampshire. She has been the music director at Bow High School since 2019 where she directs their concert band, concert choir, jazz band, select choir, and a variety of elective music courses. Alicia was named “Outstanding Young Band Director” in 2018 by the New Hampshire Band Director’s Association, and has also adjudicated and acted as clinician for festivals and competitions throughout New England.


Since 2010 Alicia has taught private oboe lessons and played principal oboe for the New Hampshire Philharmonic, SNHU Wind Symphony, and Nevers’ 2nd Regiment Band. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2009 where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in oboe performance and music education. Her oboe teachers include Paige Morgan (Ithaca College) and Margaret Herlehy (UNH). Alicia lives in Manchester with her husband Rick, one-year-old son Henry, and their 3 cats.
