Nathan Shower

Nathan joined The Phil in 2019 as a member of the trumpet section. He has a BS in Computer Science and BM in Music Education from Keene State College in Keene, NH, where he studied trumpet under James Boccia. He is also a member of the Carter Mountain Brass band, and the Winchendon Winds. He has interest in historical brass bands, and is a member of the Yankee Brass Band, 12th NH Regiment Serenade Band, and the Yankee Brass band. As a freelance musician he has also played in many small ensembles around the state.

Nathan has worked as a website developer and has been building websites for over a decade, and has also worked as a transcriber, composer, and arranger of brass music. He lives in southern New Hampshire where he lives with his partner and 2 dogs.
