Val Zanchuck

Val Zanchuk has been a musician and board member of the New Hampshire Philharmonic for over 25 years. Val’s 60 years as an amateur musician have taken him to Carnegie Hall, to states throughout the country, and to cities in Europe.
In his spare time, Val is president of Graphicast, a manufacturing company in Jaffrey. He is also involved in business and education related initiatives in the state including the board of the SEE Science Center, past chair of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire, the chair of the New Hampshire Learning Initiative, and the board of the NH Manufacturing Extension Partnership. He served as a commissioner on the recent statewide School Funding Commission, and participates on legislative committees focused on Career and Technical education.
Val received his bachelor and master degrees in metallurgical engineering from Lehigh University. He is the holder of two US patents and the author of many technical and business articles.
